Build Process

My approach to building is extremely hands on. If I had a CNC i'd use it; however, since I don't, most of the process is done with a ruler, saw, spoke-shave, a router, and sand paper. A lot of sand paper.

Finishing

Guitars are finished using unplasticised nitrocellulose lacquer and aniline dyes, which will fade over time, just like vintage finishes.

Electronics

Pickups, pots, caps, wiring, and jacks. A closer look at the components that make it an electric instrument.

Hardware

Picture
In the past, I would spend countless hours researching and upgrading the parts of my off-the-shelf guitars. Whether it was to improve tone or play-ability, or in most cases, to improve the look of vintage accuracy.
Whatever it was, like many gear-heads, I wasn't satisfied until I had customised the guitar in some way.

As a result, the parts I use on my builds are what i consider to be the very best hardware available.

Cases

I've always been as much of a fan of the vintage cases as I have been the guitars. The cases I use are custom made to my specifications and unique to Sorokin Guitars.
