My goal in building instruments is to capture the essence of the coveted guitars of the 50's.
I created this site to be more of a visual collection of some of the guitars I've built, some of the intersting instruments that have come across my bench, and some of the repairs I've done.
It is more of a landing page for anyone interested in guitars of a bygone era.
I don't do custom orders, nor do I have a wait-list or anything like that.
This is a hobby that I love doing when I can find the time, and if something is left at the end of the process, I'll put it out to pasture at my favourite local guitar store, Stang Guitars.
If a custom build is something you want, I am happy to point you in the right direction of builders/luthiers who do specialise in working with customers on personalised projects and are people I either know personally, or trust like I did.
